Educe Group Celebrates National Volunteer Month

In honor of National Volunteer Month this year, Educe employees around the country collaborated with local and national organizations to support a variety of different initiatives.

Here are just some of the organizations that we worked with in April!

God’s Love We Deliver
This New York City organization improves the health and well-being of men, women and children living with serious illnesses by providing home delivered meals. The New York team helped sort through food products and package breakfast meals for hundreds of families.

Boston Marathon
Every year, approximately 32,000 participants run in the Boston Marathon. Our fellow colleague, Craig Gormley, has been volunteering in the information booth at the start of the race for the past 12 years. This is no easy undertaking. In addition to volunteering on race day, Craig attended monthly meetings leading up to the race and worked the information booth the weekend before the race to answer questions for eager participants.

Homeward Trails Animal Rescue
Educe colleagues in Virginia spent the evening volunteering at Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization that provides pet adoption in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Duties included cleaning up the facilities and providing food and water for the dogs. Plus, they had the chance to meet some of the furry friends that were currently up for adoption.

Manna Food Center
The Bethesda, MD office joined forces at Manna Food Center, whose mission is to eliminate hunger through food distribution, education and advocacy. Educe members prepped and packed meals for 200 families in the Washington, D.C. area.
